Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TrustPros ("TrustPros," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use TrustPros websites, products, and administrative tools, including TrustPros Mails.

TrustPros Mails and Google accounts TrustPros Mails is a private administrative tool used to connect Google accounts that the account holder explicitly authorizes and to send email from those connected Gmail accounts. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or permit unrelated third parties to use it for their own purposes.

1. Information we collect

Depending on the TrustPros feature you use, we may process:

Account information such as name, email address, business information, and authentication details.
Information you submit through forms, support requests, testimonials, orders, or other TrustPros features.
For TrustPros Connect, your profile preferences, connection invitations, and messages exchanged with other members.
Technical information such as browser type, device information, IP-derived security signals, session information, and usage events used to operate and protect the service.
For TrustPros Mails, Google account identity information made available through OAuth, such as the authorized account's email address and basic profile information.
OAuth credentials, including refresh tokens, required to keep an authorized mailbox connected. These credentials are stored server-side and are not exposed in the browser interface.
Outbound email information necessary to send and record authorized messages, such as recipient address, subject, message content, sending account, delivery status, and related sending metadata.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure TrustPros, authenticate users, connect authorized accounts, send requested communications, operate business workflows, provide customer support, prevent abuse, maintain records, improve reliability, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. Google API data

When a Google account is connected to TrustPros Mails, access is granted through Google's OAuth 2.0 authorization process. TrustPros requests only the permissions needed for the enabled functionality. For the current TrustPros Mails use case, the intended Gmail permission is the ability to send email on behalf of an account that you explicitly connect.

TrustPros does not use Google API data to create advertising profiles, sell personal information, or provide data to data brokers. Google OAuth credentials are used only to provide the functionality authorized by the account holder.

TrustPros' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.

4. Storage and security

Within TrustPros Connect, authorized service administrators can access member conversations when needed for service operations, support, moderation, and safety. Member messages are therefore not accessible solely to the two participants.

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Sensitive OAuth credentials are stored server-side in protected secret storage. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we limit access to information to the systems and people that need it to operate TrustPros.

5. Sharing of information

We may use infrastructure and service providers that help us host, secure, authenticate, process, or deliver the service. They may process information only as necessary to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a legitimate business transfer.

We do not sell Google user data or disclose it to third parties for advertising.

6. Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain security and business records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements. OAuth credentials may be deleted when a connected account is disconnected, revoked, or no longer needed.

7. Your choices and controls

You can revoke TrustPros' access to a Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page. You may also disconnect an authorized mailbox inside TrustPros Mails where that control is available.

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to legal and operational requirements.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

TrustPros may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, session continuity, security, preferences, analytics, and service operation.

9. International processing

TrustPros and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we take reasonable measures to protect information in accordance with applicable law.

10. Children's privacy

TrustPros is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as TrustPros evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
